The New York Times seeks an experienced Southeast Asia bureau chief to anchor coverage of politics, culture, climate, and regional dynamics across NYT products from Southeast Asia. The role will be based in Singapore or nearby, reporting to a regional editor in Seoul.

You will oversee the bureau, manage freelancers and staff, and coordinate with colleagues across Photo, Video, Audio and other departments to bring stories to life in multiple formats.
