Pharmacy Technician RACH Dispensary

Band 5 - 29 hours per week

Aim: To participate in the delivery of a patient-focused, pharmacy service for outpatients and inpatients, including ward based services and clinical trials, provided through the Royal Aberdeen Childrens Hospital (RACH) pharmacy dispensary as part of acute pharmacy services within NHS Grampian.

The post involves management of dispensary workload and supervision and training of dispensary support staff to allow provision of an efficient, economic and safe dispensing service.

Participation in training and education of ward staff, implementation of new policies and procedures and service level audits is also expected.
