Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our OT team within the in-patient Stroke Rehabilitation service at Woodend Hospital. This post will involve the assessment and ongoing rehabilitation of patients who have been referred to this specialist in-patient area, with flexibility to support services within SOARS and community rehabilitation. Joint working alongside a specialist multi-disciplinary team, supervision of junior staff, healthcare support workers and students within the OT team, and ongoing service development and improvement are integral parts of this job.

The applicant should have previous experience within a variety of both hospital and community settings, with specific experience and training within stroke assessment and/or rehabilitation.
