NHS Grampian Radiology Department is pleased to advertise a Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in Interventional Radiology to strengthen our progressive team. The role will be based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, working within the brand-new Interventional Radiology suite which opened in March 2020.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full spectrum of interventional procedures in vascular and non‑vascular radiology, including but not limited to EVAR, FEVAR, branched‑EVAR, uterine artery embolisation, prostate artery embolisation, and varicocele embolisation.
• Maintain a dialysis access service, providing renal artery embolisation and support for dialysis patients, performing approximately 88 fistula procedures annually.
• Provide CT‑guided biliary and urological interventions, drainages, and fine‑needle aspiration work.
• Participate in a 1:5 out‑of‑hour emergency IR rota.
