Job Description:
We are seeking a Space Propulsion Test Mechanic C to work at our West Palm Beach, FL facility. This position is for 1st Shift.
Essential Functions:
Perform a variety of duties, some complex in nature, to assemble, mount, and test development and production space propulsion systems, components, and rigs.
Under direction of supervision or higher grade mechanic, work from procedures, drawings/prints, work instructions and specifications while interfacing with engineering to meet balancing, assembling, mounting, and testing requirements on new or development hardware. Assist in the cleaning, assembly, setup and pressure testing of components, rigs and facilities.Where method of work is specified, follow established procedures/work instructions or work with higher grade mechanic to operate and maintain various support equipment, making simple modifications as required.
