**PURPOSE:**
The main purpose of a data analyst is to find meaning in data so that the derived knowledge can be used to make informed decisions and assist the organization in making better business decisions supporting Regulatory and Internal/External Reporting.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

+ Engages in data exploration using various programming languages (reading and writing code), requiring knowledge of multiple database structures. Supports Regulatory and Internal/External Reporting.
+ Supports stakeholder in gathering business and technical requirements to deliver data driven solutions.
+ Produces technical documentation that is consistent with professional standards.
+ Research and analyze data flow across data ecosystem including operational and analytical data platforms.
