Clinical Specialist Anaesthetist – Permanent, Full‑time or part‑time. Work with a collaborative team of anaesthetic specialists, fellows and registrars in Women’s Health Anaesthesia at Auckland City Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre, part of Te Toka Tumai Auckland.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of practice and patient care, including appropriate pre‑operative and post‑operative management.
• Ensure the implementation of clear policies for communication and responsibility for patient care with junior staff.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Participate in teaching at both specialist training courses and ad‑hoc education of Resident Medical Officers, medical students, technicians, nurses, midwives and other staff.
• Keep up to date with current trends and developments in anaesthesia and in the utilisation of technology.
