Objective of the position
Manage several related, complex organizational units (can be global at different plant sites) with very varied functions.
Principal activities:
Support the strategic planning of the division by breaking down or developing the strategic planning for the unit within a short or medium-range time frame
Plan and administer the budget in his/her area of responsibility, in cooperation with the supervisor, and make sure there is compliance with it
Develop and implement personnel planning (including strategic) in his area of responsibility, in cooperation with the supervisor, also make sure qualified personnel are hired
Provide technical leadership to associates that report to him/her, make personal decisions in cooperation with the HR department and the supervisor.
Develop unit specific goals, break down and prioritize the unit goals, follow up on goals evaluate goal achievement.
