Specialist – Power Electronics (UPS & VSD Systems) With strong expertise in industrial AC/DC UPS systems and MV/LV Variable Speed Drives for oil & gas facilities.
Key Responsibilities - Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot UPS systems (CEG, AEG, Gutor, Chloride)
- Maintain manufacturing records, spare parts inventory, and preservation plan
- Execute preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, and component replacement
- Perform UPS redundancy checks, harmonic measurements, battery discharge tests, and charger health assessment
- Conduct VSD inspections including cooling fans, HVAC temperatures, chokes, filters, and drive performance
- Troubleshoot UPS/VSD failures and prepare technical failure report
- Support shutdown overhauls and emergency response during silent hour
