SOC Specialist – Information Security – Genetec

As a SOC Specialist, you will work with business and technical teams to protect Genetec, its employees, and its customers from bad actors. You will monitor networks and systems, investigate incidents, and respond to potential threats, ensuring the security of assets.

Your day at a glance

You'll mainly tackle incidents escalated by the Triage team and develop the SOC's ability to detect and respond to breaches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SOC agility to detect security breaches and intrusions on networks, servers, and workstations.
• Implement processes and tools for incident response, data collection, log analysis, hostile environment testing, penetration testing, malware analysis, and forensics.
• Support incident response actions to ensure proper assessment, containment, mitigation, and documentation.
