Job summary
This is a fixed term appointment for a 10 PA Specialty Doctor in Sexual Health +/- HIV, covering a career break for 6 months in the first instance, from October 2026.

Given the complex care requirement the appointee must hold a basic medical qualification i.e. MBBS/MBChB or equivalent; at least 4 years of post-registration medical experience and 1-2+ years of specialty experience in integrated Sexual Health +/- HIV. CoSRH/ specialty Diplomas in GUM/ HIV +/- procedural letters of competence in contraception and Gynaecology experience are desirable.

They will also provide support and training to the clinical team as well as contributing to the clinical governance of the department. The post-holder will be expected to work with consultant and senior nursing colleagues, and the wider multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to maintain the current high standards and track record for innovation, especially in digital services.
