Cpl UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently looking for an experienced Old Age Specialty Doctor, based at Barrow in Furness in the inpatient ward.

Assessment of patients referred to the service in clinic and on the ward . To provide for mental health needs – including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications. To provide for the physical health needs of your patients (with support from clinical practitioners, GP and junior doctors, and referring to specialtys and outside hospitals). To contribute to the discharge process including completing outpatient letters, discharge summaries, prescribing for discharge medications ( junior doctor will perform), and handing over care. Suitable for those with experience in psychiatry as well as general practitioners with experience and ongoing interest in old age psychiatry.
