Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable with strong understanding of Sales and Use Tax to support a Spokane-based team on a long-term contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong multi-state sales and use tax experience who can ensure compliance, accuracy, and proper reporting, while also supporting core AP functions. The position will play a key role in reviewing transactions, identifying tax discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Own sales and use tax review and compliance across vendor invoices, ensuring proper tax application, accruals, and adherence to multi-state requirements.
+ Analyze transactions to identify overpayments, underpayments, and tax errors, including historical review where needed.
+ Assist with sales and use tax reconciliations, reporting support, and audit readiness, maintaining clear documentation for compliance.
