Reporting to the Engineer Manager, you will be responsible for both capital project management and engineering design support of improvement and reliability initiatives in all areas of the Steel Mill. This position works closely with various production area staff and maintenance personnel in pursuit of increased safety for employees and contractors, increased quality of the final product, increased production capabilities, and cost efficiency improvements. This position includes a balance of long‑term strategic project planning and execution while also supporting the fast‑paced day‑to‑day operations in the maintenance and production areas. This position provides a dynamic work environment with new challenges every day while also providing the satisfaction of a long‑term project seen from concept to completion.
