.Xometry is looking for an experienced CNC machinist and manufacturing professional with a strong eye for details, and mechanical aptitude who will operate and program CNC machinery in order to accurately and efficiently manufacture high quality parts. Duties and responsibilities As a CNC Prototype Machinist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Reading specifications on blueprints and mechanical drawings and ensuring they are met. 

Setup, program, and operate CNC Mill and Lathe for prototype/production part runs

Be able to run tests on machines to check machine outputs according to specifications, and adjust as necessary. 

Design fixtures and manufacture them as needed 

Examine and maintain machinery regularly to ensure functionality. 

Supervise machines during execution and make any necessary adjustments to manufacture a better result.
