Job Description
The Technical Salesforce Architect will serve as the technical lead for a Commercial Technology Blueprint engagement, responsible for deep discovery, architecture design, and roadmap development. In the initial phase, the architect will conduct 15–20+ stakeholder interviews across IT, systems, and operations to assess the current technology landscape, including Salesforce, CPQ, ERP, BI, and cloud data platforms. They will map the end-to-end architecture, document system configurations and integrations, and identify gaps in workflows, data usage, and platform adoption.
As the engagement progresses, the architect will develop a target-state architecture and define how systems should integrate and evolve over a multi-phase, 5-year roadmap. This includes producing capability gap analyses, recommending platform strategies (retain, enhance, replace), and outlining integration approaches.
