Job Description:
The Sr. Mechanical Engineering Specialist is responsible for participating in the design of detail parts, assemblies, and installations for aircraft structures, mission equipment installations, and mechanical systems installations. Qualified candidates will apply basic engineering design and/or analytical theory with understanding of structural analysis for application to integrated system design.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for research, development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost.Able to lead engineers in the design of detail parts, assemblies, and large installations for aircraft structure modifications.Incorporate feedback from multiple parties and stakeholders into their designs and installation packages.Review and a...
