Position Summary

The Senior Payroll Specialist serves as a key member of the Japan Payroll team and acts as the operational partner to the Payroll Manager. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, complaint, and timely payroll delivery while supporting operational governance, vendor management, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.

The position requires strong expertise in Japanese payroll, time & attendance, payroll systems, and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining operational stability, supporting ongoing transformation initiatives, and driving improvements across payroll processes and controls.

This role serves as a primary operational resource for Japan payroll and provides leadership in day-to-day payroll activities, vendor coordination, and issue management.
