SAI answers a fundamental question for every item in our catalog: should Amazon carry it, surface it, and grow it? This is a strategic and complex challenges, spanning substitution science, delivery speed perception, cross-border fulfillment, and intelligent selection curation.

Within SAI, the Serra team owns two programs: Zephyr (Substitution) — which identifies nearly identical products that ship faster, arrive sooner, and cost less to fulfill — and Smart Speed, which closes the gap between operational delivery improvements and customer perception of Prime speed.
