Position Overview

Accountant, Accounts Payable
Salary to $65K plus bonus
Benefits: PTO, 401K, Healthcare, pension plan, etc.
Onsite: M-F, Flex hours (7-3:30; 7:30-4, etc.)

Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their team in Northern, NJ. The chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting the controller. The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of related experience, proficient in Microsoft applications and Sage Timberline experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Apply/post incoming cash receipts and maintain files.

  • Update/analyze Job Cost and Indirect Budgets and Variance reports.

  • Process a variety of accounting reports.

  • Responsible for vendor control.

  • Maintain current insurance and tax-exempt certificates.

  • Verify receipt of signed subcontract agreements.

  • Code invoices and credit card transactions.
