JoVE is looking for an Staff Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing. This position will give you the opportunity to grow your career in accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and daily transactions
• Update and maintain the accounting database. Check postings and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
• Issue invoices to customers as required
• Perform bookkeeping services
• Conduct bank reconciliations
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study
• Bookkeeping, AR and/or AP experience is a must
• Hands-on experience working with MS Excel & accounting software like QuickBooks
