We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Ladson, South Carolina. This is a Contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing organization and take ownership of key accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax, sales tax, and general ledger management.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Handle sales tax filings and ensure accurate reporting and timely submission.

• Record and review journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Assist in financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes.
