Description
We are looking for a dependable Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations for a Contract position based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is ideal for someone who works well independently, maintains accurate financial records, and brings a hands-on approach to daily accounting activities. The position will contribute to close cycles, reconciliations, and selected payables and receivables tasks while helping ensure timely and reliable financial reporting.


Responsibilities:

• Manage recurring close activities across month-end, quarter-end, and year-end periods to help keep financial reporting on schedule.

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card activity, and general ledger balances while researching and correcting variances.

• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger to support accurate accounting records.
