Description
We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in New Jersey in a contract capacity. This on-site role is well suited for someone who can manage day-to-day accounting activity with accuracy, maintain organized financial records, and support a smooth month-end process. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling both payables and receivables, monitoring account activity, and using accounting systems and Excel to keep financial operations running efficiently.




Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate and timely financial records

• Support the month-end close process by reviewing account activity and resolving variances

• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure balances are accurate
