About the Role

Our client in San Francisco is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support their finance team on a contract, onsite basis. This role will focus on general ledger management, month-end close, and financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentation

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close, including account reconciliations

+ Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies

+ Support financial reporting, including preparation of balance sheet and income statement schedules

+ Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

+ Partner with AP/AR teams to ensure accurate recording of transactions
