GENERAL SUMMARY:

+ Schedule: Part Time - 20 hours a week - Days

+ Performs OT evaluation and uses treatments to develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and work skills of patients.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Performs patient assessment, treatment, discharge planning and collaboration with other health care providers.

+ Documents patient care and billing information timely and in accordance with department standards.

+ Communicates with co-workers, and other professionals, including physicians and nurses as needed to ensure optimal patient care.

+ Functions as a team member in care of patients and in mentoring with other staff.

+ Delegates aspects of patient care to support staff per OT/OTA MI Licensure Administrative Rules providing necessary communication and supervision.

+ Maintains clinical productivity standards.
