*By applying to this requisition, you are applying to take the State Police Cadet Entrance Exam on Saturday, October 10, 2026.* Upon initial appointment, State Police Cadets must successfully complete a four-week orientation and training program at the State Police Academy in order to qualify for assignment to a State Police station or work unit. Thereafter, Cadets become part of an assignment rotation throughout the stations and units of the Department of State Police. Within their assignments, Cadets must perform duties and fulfill responsibilities including, but not limited exclusively to, the following - 1.
