Understands and carries out nursing care in line with the organization’s vision and mission statements, goals and objectives that suit the scope of the nursing services. Works shift duties or as assigned by the Unit Manager according to the unit’s operational hours. Informs the Unit Manager when changes occur in circumstances which affect standards of care. Receives and handover reports of patients, knows the case in detail: progress of the patient. Ensures all doctor’s orders are carried out before shift change and on taking over the case. Any incident or problem encountered. Visits every patient in the unit together with the team members on taking over of duties to assess condition of patient, compare with report.
