The Animal Care Technician supports high-quality animal care and facility operations by performing daily health observations, maintaining clean and safe housing, and ensuring accurate documentation of all activities. This role applies technical knowledge of animal husbandry and environmental monitoring to promote animal welfare and support research operations within a vivarium setting.
Responsibilities

+ Perform daily observations of animals to assess health status, behavior, and overall condition, and promptly report any changes in animals or their environment.

+ Conduct environmental monitoring and complete all associated documentation accurately and on time.

+ Change and clean cages, racks, equipment, water bottles, and food containers according to established procedures and schedules.
