The Storekeeper is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of material receipt, issue, control and record on site as per related procedures.
Responsibilities - Record received purchased items from the Purchasing Department.
- Prepare the Cumulative Monthly Stock Balance Report containing the supplied and remaining quantities of each material as per Company Accounts Codes and Works Items for construction materials, tools and consumables.
- Keep Delivery Notes, Invoices, SRTs, MRRS and LC copies for the duration of the project and as required by the Project Manager.
- Record itemized deliveries in the Material Stock Card as per Company Accounts Codes and Works Items, separately for construction supplies.
- Record and sign the daily issued materials registers.
- Ensure that approved delivered materials are properly labeled with production and expiry dates and shelf life, and that the corresponding technical literature is available. ...
