Grade: 09. Compensation: FTE Annual Salary of $68,536.00.

Purpose:

The Strength and Conditioning Specialist is responsible for providing strength and conditioning expertise working as part of a multidisciplinary team in support of York Lions Varsity Teams, Student‑Athletes and Coaches. The role performs a variety of fitness assessments, develops physical preparation programs and delivers training sessions to identified teams and student‑athletes. The role requires commitment and adherence to the values and principles of Athletics and Recreation as expressed in the mandate of the department.

Education:

University degree in Kinesiology or a related field, or an equivalent of four years of recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks.
