Summary:

 Responsible for effectively coordinating the Stroke Program, Also responsible for implementing and maintaining compliance with any external DNV, American Stroke Association regulatory requirements, and internal benchmarks. Working with the Medical Director of the program leads, directs, and negotiates through collaboration with physicians and staff to care delivery that ensures efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and expected clinical outcomes. Provides specialized nursing knowledge and expertise functioning as a clinician, educator, and consultant to medical/nursing staff, patients, and families.

Requirements: Current AHA BLS, and AHA ACLS certification required. Evidence of skill in leadership, teaching, creativity, initiative, communication skills, and change process.
