Monday through Friday, Hours can varyFitter Duties and Responsibilities 

Fit and align steel components for hull replacements, tanks, and structural assemblies. 

Read and interpret measurements, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure proper fit and placement. 

Prepare materials, organize workspaces, and ensure all components are ready for welding. 

Assist with cutting and shaping steel using tools such as oxy-acetylene or similar equipment. 

Inspect fitted components to ensure accuracy before welding begins.
