What the role is: This is a 2-year contract position as a Student Counsellor in the Student & Alumni Services Office.
What you will be working on: As a Student Counsellor, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
1. Counselling & Case Management - Provide individual and group counselling to students facing emotional, behavioural, social, or personal difficulties
- Handle counselling cases, manage crisis, and apply appropriate professional interventions.
- Conduct triage, assessment, and referral for students who require specialised support (eg. external agencies).
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of counselling sessions in accordance with established protocols and data‑management standards
