Position Information Position Title Student Groundskeeper Academic Year 2026-2027 UIW Mission University of the Incarnate Word is a Catholic institution that welcomes to its community persons of diverse backgrounds, in the belief that their respectful interaction advances the discovery of truth, mutual understanding, self-realization, and the common good. Position Summary Student Work-Study groundskeepers are responsible for maintaining the grounds and landscaping of assigned areas on all UIW campuses. This includes keeping UIW grounds areas clean and orderly, free of trash and debris. Groundskeepers report to Groundskeeper Supervisor. Essential Functions

Mowing lawns.

Trimming hedges.

Watering plants.

Maintaining gardens and lawns, including planting, weeding and mulching.

Emptying trash bins.

Delivering plants to events or departments.

Performs other duties as assigned.
