pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have been asked to find an Actuarial student/Newly qualified Actuary for a large mutual insurer.

The role will sit within the insurance risk team and will be responsible for development of the data processes to allow greater insight into insurance risks. More specifically you will maintain and develop experience analysis and cashflow models in R and develop data processes in SQL.

The idea candidate must have previous experience of programming in R and a general understanding of good modelling practices.

The role can be remote so long as you are open to attending the office as and when required. The company has offices in London, Wilmslow (near Manchester) and Edinburgh.

The salary available is £45,000 – £63,000 depending on experience.
