An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to undertake a secondment role of Subarachnoid Haemorrhage Nurse Specialist for months, caring for patients with SAH. You will be involved with the patient pathway from admission through to discharge and utilise the established links with the neuroradiology team.

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) will have responsibility for the development of a Specialist Nurse service for all patients following diagnosis and treatment of sub arachnoid haemorrhage, and also other non-ruptured intracranial haemorrhages. They will work collaboratively with the Neurosurgical and Neuroradiology teams to devise and implement bespoke care pathways. They will also work in collaboration with the ANP for head injury, so as to share best practice and identify areas for joint service partnership.
