What is the Opportunity?
The Subcontracts Specialist will support the project team through the effective administration of the subcontractor process from bid solicitation to award. The individual will also act as an advisor to the project management team with respect to the subcontractor’s scope of work and obligations set out in the contract.
What You’ll Do Here:
Lead the subcontractor bid (RFQ) solicitation process; bid analysis; bid review; contract negotiation; contract interpretation through to contract execution. Strong ability to manage subcontractor change orders.Review and understand scopes of work and prepare bid packages.Adopt appropriate subcontract strategies and pricing methodologies such as lump-sum, unit price, target cost and cost reimbursement or hybrids thereof.Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained through the process.In conjunction with the legal and op...
