Substation EngineerOverview
We are seeking an Intermediate Substation Engineer to support the design and maintenance of substation protection and control systems across a large regional electric power network. This role helps ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of transmission, substation, and generation-related assets.
Responsibilities

+ Design and support substation, transmission, and generation protection and control systems

+ Specify substation equipment such as breakers, transformers, switches, relay panels, capacitor banks, and grounding systems

+ Develop protective relaying, metering, and SCADA designs using system requirements, standards, and past project data

+ Analyze system data including voltage, ampacity, impedance, CT ratios, and relay settings

+ Prepare project scopes, cost estimates, bills of material, and technical drawings
