Position Summary: Provide direct health services to individual students and staff.



Qualifications, certification, and Experience


+ Current license as a registered nurse (RN) from the Iowa Board of Nursing

+ Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

+ Knowledge of professional standards, the Nurse Practice Act and other statutes and regulations

+ Current CPR/AED certification

+ Completed studies designed to develop knowledge and skills in the following areas:


+ health concerns of school youth

+ physical and emotional health of children and adults

+ community agencies/resources

+ legal rights and due process


+ Ability to manage the components of the School Health Program
