Position Details

The Grounds Department requires the services of students to assist permanent staff in grounds care.


Duties will include:

Mowing with push and ride on mowers

String trimming

Emptying trash bins

Litter picking

Planting

Hardscape / Landscaping

Digging for irrigation repairs

Cleaning tilling and weeding feature beds

Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $19.22 per hour. Position Qualifications

Previous Zero Turn Mower Experience.

Previous Weed Whip Experience.

Work independently or as a team member, in a high-volume, service orientated work environment with frequent changes to work priorities.

A valid unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s License with no more than 6 demerits and submission of a motor vehicle record (driver abstract) dated within 3 months of the posting close is required.
