**Supervisor for Geographic Information System Center of Excellence**

**JOB SUMMARY:**

The supervisor position for the Geographic Information System Center of Excellence (GIS CoE) group is responsible for supporting the direction of Southern Company’s Electric geographic information system (GIS) using the Esri ArcGIS enterprise line of products and related vendor partner solutions. The supervisor, reporting to the Manager of the GIS CoE, will focus on operations, project, and support of Southern Company's business units and Technology Organization groups. In alignment with and at the direction of the Manager of the GIS CoE, the position partners with these groups for the strategic development and support of a large portfolio of GIS-related business applications.
