We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supervisor, Recreational Therapy.

In this role, the successful candidate Coordinates activities and supervises staff providing recreation therapy, child life and/or creative arts therapies. Develops and coordinates in-service continuing education programs and assists with new program development and implementation. Administers therapy care and monitors the treatment and progress of patients

Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrates continued proficiency in skills required to treat assigned patient population.

Assists Director with developing short and long term strategic plans for department; coordinates activities in the Therapeutic Recreation, Child Life & Creative Arts Therapies department.

Supervises, trains, and orients professional staff; assigns, supervises and coordinates the activities of the therapists; ensures effective administration of departmental and hospital policies.
