Job Summary The NDT Supervisor is responsible for carrying out and overseeing non‑destructive testing (NDT) activities across shipbuilding, repair, and conversion projects.
Key Responsibilities - Perform NDT methods such as UT, MT, PT, RT, and VT on hull structures, piping systems, and critical components.
- Interpret test results and identify defects against acceptance criteria.
- Ensure testing follows approved procedures and relevant codes/standards.
- Supervise and guide NDT technicians (if assigned), ensuring work is done correctly and safely.
- Coordinate inspection activities with production teams to minimise disruption to operations.
- Liaise with classification surveyors and client representatives during inspections.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely Work Done Reports (WDR).
