+ Supervises payroll function of processing timecards, compiling payroll statistics, maintaining payroll control records, recording hours of work, and calculating payrolls.
+ Develops operational plans to achieve results and ensures alignment with company goals and objectives.
+ Sets goals for work group, manages execution, and measures results.
+ Selects, manages, evaluates and develops staff. Challenges employees, builds effective team, develops organizational capacity, and provides staff with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities.
+ Reviews or directs review of personnel records to determine names, rates of pay, and occupations of newly hired workers, and changes in wage rates and occupations of employees on payroll.
+ Directs compilation and preparation of payroll data, including pension, insurance, bond purchases, and credit union payments.
