Make a significant impact on patient-focused health care as a Nutrition and Food Service (NFS) Supervisor. NFS is a provincial program that is committed to provide nutritious, healthy, high-quality meal service to patients, staff, visitors and the community.You will have the unique opportunity to lead teams within two home sites, the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre ( FTE) and Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre ( FTE) NFS department. Rimbey HCC is a 107 bed facility with 23 acute care beds and 84 long term care beds and Ponoka HCC is a 57 bed facility with 29 acute care beds and 28 long term care beds. NFS Supervisors provide direction to front line workers (ie. Food Services Workers and Cooks) and ensure patients receive the meals required to promote good health. You will be integrated as part of a dynamic team that includes other NFS Supervisors, Managers and Dietitians.
