About the role

We have an opportunity based at our Taumarunui site to hire a permanent Supervisor. We are working with tamariki and whānau to make positive changes in our community. The role requires leading, supporting and supervising a team of social workers, building and maintaining positive relationships with iwi and other organisations, and ensuring professional practice aligns with Oranga Tamariki’s framework, principles and standards.

Key responsibilities include identifying professional development needs, managing workflow, and partnering with regional supervisors and the wider leadership team.

Competitive salary: $111,020 to $133,696, depending on experience.

Key Requirements

• A full, clean, valid driver’s licence
• Full registration with the New Zealand Social Work Registration Board (SWRB)
