Position Overview

Summary As a Supervisory AST, Structural Dynamics Branch Chief you will be responsible for overall leadership, coordination, implementation of mission specific launch vehicle insight and approval, launch vehicle certification for the coupled loads, dynamic environments, and strength analysis teams. These teams perform complex analytical tasks focused on the behavior of launch vehicle structural elements in flight using detailed review and high-fidelity modeling for independent verification/validation. Responsibilities Effectively interfacing with all levels of management in both government and industry as an expert regarding launch vehicle and spacecraft flight structures analysis. Formulating, planning and implementing advancements in capability associated with flight structures analysis that improve quality, reduce cost, and/or enhance reliability of launch services.
