Summary About the Position: As Chief of the River and Hydrologic Engineering Section you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and advising on hydrologic and river hydraulic projects. Many projects are very complex; requiring sophisticated statistical modeling procedures. Results affect the planning, development and/or operation of projects including major multi-million dollar multi-purpose projects, providing flood control, hydro-power, recreation and navigation benefits. Responsibilities Serve as the District's principal expert for hydrologic and river engineering, responsible for defining, clarifying, and setting technical criteria for complex projects.
