Responsibilities Serves as the department head in the Correctional Services department at one of the Bureau of Prisons most complex correctional facilities. Responsible for institutional security, inmate conduct and discipline, inmate work, control of hazardous tools and materials, safety, sanitation, control and use of institution vehicles, and key control. Also inspects facilities, observes personnel and inmates from the standpoint of security, morale and employee-inmate relations, and overall program coordination.
